JOIN OUR MISSION

Monomoy Regional High School Friends of the Arts is a non-profit, independent organization of parents, educators, students, and friends working to support, encourage, and enhance the Arts education programs of Monomoy Regional High School through donations of funds, equipment, and scholarships. To this end, we work to build awareness of our Arts students' efforts, accomplishments and shows through programs, projects and fundraising.

ABOUT US

Did you know the Arts program has a BOOSTER club? We are Monomoy Schools Friends Of The Arts or FOTA!  We have provided financial support, equipment and scholarships to Harwich students since 2004 and more recently to the entire Monomoy district of Chatham and Harwich.

Monomoy Regional High School offers amazing opportunities for students that enjoy playing an instrument, love to sing, are into drama, have interests in painting, drawing, ceramics, digital art, graphic design and photography. We are very fortunate to have a High School that offers such a wide variety of programs involving the Arts.

Meetings are held at MRHS on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., from September through June, with an option to attend virtually for added convenience.

"I have two daughters who attendMRMS and MRHS, both enthusiastically active in the arts. In my professional life I work for Barnstable County Dept. of Human Services. I see how the intersection of human services and the arts can support mental wellness and help raise the next generation of engaged and responsible citizens of the community and the world."

"My son is a recently graduated MRHS student and is attending a performing arts college. I also have two daughters, both Monomoy School District students, and both highly involved in regional and school-based performing and visual arts. The arts play a huge role in our family’s daily life. FOTA allows me, someone with practically zero arts background, a way to show my appreciation and help promote that which contributes so much to not just my own kids, but all children’s overall well being, joy and education."
